Title
Mudd Nicks continue to evolve and grow
Subject
Mudd Nicks
Description
What started out as a yearly golfing weekend with college buddies to a annual fundraising tournament. It all began 25 years ago, when Doug Nicholson and Jim Mudd decided to do something for the children in the Nehalem Bay area. They wanted the students of elementary and middle school age to be exposed to events that were not available in this community. Also to sponsor/fund sports activities during the summer.
This non profit organization is a yearly event that the community looks forward to as well as who will receive the Person(s)of the Year Award. This year 2013 the Person(s) of the Year Award went to Doug's' parents, Owen and Ann Nicholson. They have played an active part in this foundation as well as in the community.
