Description

As with all of nature's creations changes will come inevitably. Many of these changes are created by man. The ritual of burning the mountain kept the mountain clear of tall timber. This would also take care of the under brush too. The last time the mountain was burned was in 1945. A accidental fire was started by a logger, the entire face of the mountain was burned.
The prairies and meadows slowly disappeared and was replaced by high brush and tall timber.
Today there are more houses and trees then there was 70 years ago.
